Channels
Channels are the communication gateways that connect your Dreams workspace to external messaging platforms — such as WhatsApp, SMS, Messenger, or LiveChat — allowing you to send and receive messages, manage templates, and track customer conversations in a unified way.
Each channel in Dreams acts as an integration layer between your organization and a third-party platform. It ensures that:
Messages follow the specific platform’s requirements (e.g., WhatsApp Business API rules).
Billing and analytics are handled per-channel.
Conversations stay synchronized between platforms and your Dreams inbox.
🔎 How to Get Your Channel ID from the Dreams Dashboard
Follow these steps to locate and copy the Channel ID for any connected platform (WhatsApp, SMS, Live Chat, etc.):
1. Log in to your Dreams Portal
Go to 👉 https://portal.dreams.sa and sign in with your organization credentials.
2. Open your organization dashboard
At the top of the screen, choose the correct:
Organization
Workspace
This ensures you’re viewing the right environment.
3. Go to “Channels”
Use the quick menu at the top of the dashboard → Manage Channels
You’ll now see cards for each platform, such as:
Whatsapp
SMS
Live Chat
Ticketing
4. Open the specific channel
Click the platform you want — for example: Whatsapp → opens the list of Whatsapp channels linked to your organization.
Then click the channel name (e.g., Channel Dreams) to open its details page.
5. Copy the Channel ID
Inside the channel details card you’ll see:
Click the 📋 copy icon next to it to copy the ID to your clipboard.
